I feel as though I have lost touch with the purpose of language. To communicate. I have now spent roughly a year on learning Spanish, learning a good part of the technical details of conjugation, using nouns and adjectives, and sentence structure. It seems in doing this I have lost sight of my original goal, which was to be able to communicate more effectively, and with more people.
