About Me

My name is P. Kevin Contreras (MacWhinnie before marriage). My pronouns are he/him. I am a software developer mostly working in Swift. Occasionally I like to draw and take photos. I try to be funny. I have aspirations of being bilingual in Spanish.

I do my best to live a peaceful and just life. I try to see things as they are, and to not turn away from suffering. My spiritual journey has led me to meditation and Unitarian Universalism.

I grew up near Portland, Maine, grew past childhood abuse in San Francisco, and have found who I am in Boston. I Identify as queer, and am married to another man. I strive to be a good father to our son.

I am far from perfect, but I try to bring love and beauty into this world when I can.
